• Burdock is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as a diuretic and diaphoretic; as an alternative to help remove accumulated waste products via the kidneys, skin and mucus membranes; and to help alleviate the pain associated with rheumatism

Recommended Adult Dose: Take 25 drops three times daily with warm water, 30 minutes before meals, or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner. For occasional use only. For use beyond seven days, consult your healthcare practitioner.

Risk Information: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding; or if you have abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, atonic bowel, inflammatory bowel disease, appendicitis, abdominal pain, hemorrhoids, ulcerative colitis, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes, do not use. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult your healthcare practitioner. If you have diabetes; if you have a history of kidney stones or peptic ulcer disease; if you are taking cardiac medications such as cardiac glycosides or antiarrhythmic medications, thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root, or other medications or health products which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance, consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use. Hypersensitivity/ allergy to burdock has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
